Corsair Royal Navy Gallery: Aircraft Description: The Corsair was introduced in 1940, it boasted the most engine along with the largest propeller for any fighter in history. This Corsair was built at the Good year factory in 1945, it spent some time in the Pacific before going into store. The aircraft was bought by stunt pilot Frank Tallman and passed throuch several owners till joinnig the Fighter Collection in 1986. The Fighter Collection's Corsair is an extremly original example of the typeas she has nver been restored and has the distingtion of beingone of the few stillflying with fabric wings. The Corsair is paintedin the colours of a British Fleet Air Arm machine KD 345 of 1850 Squadron
