Miss Velma Gallery: Aircraft Description: North American TF-51 d "Miss Velma", built too late to see combat service in W W 2, P51 d 44-84847 was one of the last Mustangs to be constucted at the North American Aviation's Dallas Texas plant. In 1951she was seeing service with the T P S at Kimpo in South Korea during the Korean war. In 1956 she was transferred to a National Guard Unit. In 2000 it became part of the Fighter Collection and converted to a TF-51 D configuration. The trestoration completed in 2007 she flew across the Atlanticin July 2007. The Mustang is in the colours and codes of Capt Frank Bistciel of the 55th Fighter Group.
