Seafire SX336 Static Gallery: Aircraft Description: This is the naval version of the Spitfire. SX 336 was built at Westland Aircraft Limited at Yeovil and handed over to the Fleet Air Arm in May 1946. It was withdrawn from service in 1954 and sold for scrap. In 1973 it was recovered from Warrington Lancashire. Rebuilt to airworthy condition in 1989. The aircraft was re registered G-KASX and restored again to flying condition. It is seen here at the Flying Legends display at Duxford.
